Counting visits
Visits are counted with Umami, run by the maker of this site on a server in Los Angeles. For each page you view it records the page's address and title, the site you came from, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language, and the country, region and city looked up from your IP address. When you follow a link to a shop, it records which piece you opened.
The IP address itself is not stored. Visits are grouped under an identifier made by hashing the IP address and browser details with a value that changes every month, so a visitor can't be followed from one month to the next.
If your browser has Do Not Track turned on, nothing is counted.
Records are kept until they are deleted. There is no automatic expiry.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitor IP addresses for security.
Fonts are served from this site. Pages make no requests to anyone else.
Shops
A link to a piece opens the shop's own site, under that shop's privacy policy.
